A round for youth chorus with words by Marina Harrison, commissioned by the Young People's Chorus of New York City as part of the Canons Project. Composed during the pandemic lockdown, A New Well is one of 15 rounds designed to be sung by children over Zoom and on their phones, chronicling the isolation, yearning, and joy experienced by nearly 600 choristers ages 8–18. The work was premiered as part of the immersive mixed-media art exhibition 'Alone Together' at High Line Nine gallery in New York City, and appears on the limited-edition vinyl release 'This Time Round.'
